This resource has been designed to address some of the outcomes of the NSW Board of Studies Stage 6 Chemistry syllabus core module 9.4, Chemical monitoring and management.
Using the Sydney catchment as a case study, the activities are designed to contribute to student’s knowledge and skills in the following areas.
9.4.1 the role of a chemist
9.4.5 the impact of human activity on our waterways.
